JOB TITLE: Nursery or Preschool Caregiver
DEPARTMENT: Nursery/Preschool
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursery and Preschool
SHIFT: Every Other Sunday 8:00am - 12:00pm
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
• This position will care for children ages 8 weeks- 2 years old (Nursery) or 2 - 5 years old (Preschool).
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES (includes but not limited to):
• Greet parents and children
• Help with the child check-in & check-out process
• Create a safe and sanitized environment
• Read stories and discuss the children's Bible lessons
• Care for babies, (includes holding, diapering, and feeding)
• Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION (knowledge, skills, abilities):
• Previous work and/or volunteer experience should demonstrate a "heart" for children
• Previous experience working with children is preferred
• Important personality traits: flexible, fun, and task oriented
• All employees are required to attend a church service at least twice per month at the church of their choice
• Must pass a background check
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS (includes physical demands):
Work is performed in a movie theater setting (converted into a nursery or pre-k area) and will require standing, kneeling, and sitting on the floor with children.
